Privacy Policy

NODU ("we", "our", "the app") lets you open, convert, and preview design files (CorelDRAW, Illustrator, Photoshop, and common document formats). This page explains what happens to your data when you use the NODU website or Android app.

Files you open or convert

When you open or convert a file, it is sent to our server for processing (using LibreOffice, GIMP, and CorelDRAW running on that server) and the result is sent back to your device. We do not keep your files:

• Uploaded files are processed and then deleted automatically as soon as the request finishes.
• The "Move, resize & delete objects" tool keeps a working copy for up to 1 hour to let you make edits, then deletes it automatically.
• We do not view, share, sell, or use your files for any purpose other than producing the conversion or export you requested.

Font Finder

Images you use with Font Finder (to identify a font) are processed on our server to run the matching and are not stored afterward. If you choose to download a matched font, that request goes to Google Fonts directly — see Google's privacy policy.

Feedback you send us

If you use the in-app Feedback form, we store the message you write, an optional screenshot you attach, the page you were on, and basic technical information (like your browser's user-agent string) so we can understand and fix the issue. This is kept to help us improve the app; contact us (below) if you'd like a feedback submission removed.

What we don't do

• No account or sign-up is required to use NODU.
• We don't use analytics or advertising trackers, and we don't sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
• We don't request access to anything on your device beyond what a feature needs in the moment — e.g. the camera only opens when you tap Font Finder's camera option, and only to take that one photo.

Android app permissions

The NODU Android app requests internet access (to talk to justnodu.com) and, only when you use the camera-based Font Finder feature, camera access for that single photo. It does not request contacts, location, microphone, or background access.
